Description

The Klipsch CP-6T is a pair of indoor/outdoor cabinet speakers from the Compact Performance line, engineered to meet the demands of commercial use.

Putting out 75 watts of power with 300W peak performance and designed for use in a 70/100 volt distributed audio system, these speakers are ideal for use in commercial spaces as well as homes.

The CP-6T accommodates a frequency range of 83 Hz to 22 kHz, with each speaker delivering audio through a 0.75″ aluminum dome tweeter, a 5.25″ long-throw injection-molded graphite (IMG) woofer, and Klipsch’s trademark Tractrix horn. The system is tuned for high clarity, low distortion sound at all volumes, allowing for use in both background and foreground applications. Each cabinet also features dual front-firing ports in a bass reflex design to enhance bass output in any mounting configuration.

For larger environments, multiple pairs of CP-6T speakers can be daisy-chained together for wider coverage. Tap settings at 30W, 15W, 7V, and 3.75W permit greater versatility in both application and amplifier wattage. The speakers also come with brackets and screws for mounting.

Tractrix Horn Design

The CP-6T features a high frequency horn using Klipsch’s proprietary Tractrix design for low distortion and high detail and clarity at both high and low volume levels. Whether mounted horizontally or vertically, the 90° x 90° horn dispersion assures wide and even sonic coverage.

Easy Installation

With their V-shaped rear profile, these speakers can be tightly mounted into wall-to-wall or wall-to-ceiling corners. Installation using the included brackets requires only a screwdriver, and is made even easier with the system’s front speaker wire terminals and front access bracket connections. The speakers can also be angled up to 45° in either direction in 15° increments without any tools.

Weather-Resistant Enclosure

These Klipsch loudspeakers have a reinforced, weather-resistant cabinet made from anti-resonant, mineral-filled polypropylene carbonate (PPC) which is designed for indoor or outdoor use. The cabinets are also paintable, allowing the speaker to subtly blend in with your décor.

Mounting Brackets Included

This system comes with mounting brackets and bracket retaining screws for easy mounting both indoors or outdoors. Additionally, the speakers also feature dual 1/4″-20 thread inserts on the cabinet back for use with third-party brackets or commercial safety cables.
