Description
D10 is a ‘dream gear’ for your beloved sonic pleasure. It is a DAC, a pre-amp, and a headphone amp, well built with streaming capability. Yes, the same spacious, supple and dynamically powerful sound that COS products have been offering. D10 is also a phono amp, one that delivers from your preferred vinyl luscious vibes.
COS ALGORITHM, BUFFER and RECLOCKING
COS proprietary algorithm with a linear-phase delay FIR filter can up-sample original data to 176.4K or 192K. D10 stores digital data in a onesecond buffer before converting to analog signals, under the coordination of a crystal oscillator with a jitter precision less than 1ps and a dedicated reclocking circuitry.
STREAMING (optional)
Stable and quality streaming is available, with or without a wire, for TiDAL, Spotify, Deezer, and Qobuz. Setup is easy with iOS and Android applications. The streaming module in D10 takes care of MQA decoding.
PHONO-AMPLIFIER (optional)
There are 5 loading resistors and 3 loading capacitors, all selectable, to accommodate phono cartridges of your choice. Other features include JFET input stage, on-board low-noise linear regulator, and handpicked components for RIAA curve matching and zero capacitor between audio signal paths. Extremely low in noise and distortion.
TWO-LAYER HOUSING
D10 has an NCT internal chassis and an aluminum exterior. This design provides a fortified frame that make possible lowered noise and minimized interference.
Headphone Amplifier
D10, capable of driving headgears of high and low impedance, has a pair of 3-pin XLR connectors that accommodate 2 unbalanced headphones or 1 balanced one. An extra 4- pin XLR connector is ready for a balanced
headphone.
DUAL POWER SUPPLY
D10 uses two-stage regulation to provide clean power. Two toroid transformers power the digital circuit and the analog circuit separately, thereby eliminating possible interferences.
