AVM Ovation CS 8.3 S Reference All-in-One Streaming CD Receiver
The Ovation CS 8.3 S is AVM’s reference all-in-one system, combining 2 x 550 watts of amplification, tube technology, high-end streaming, CD playback and an advanced phono stage in a single handcrafted component. It is designed to replace a large stack of separate source and amplification components without compromising high-end performance.
The S-DAC uses an ESS 9038 PRO Double-Quad architecture and supports up to 384 kHz/32-bit PCM and DSD256. AVM’s X-Stream Engine provides Spotify Connect, Qobuz, TIDAL Connect MAX, internet radio, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth 5.0 and Roon Ready support. HDMI ARC integrates television audio, while a slot-in CD drive and fully configurable MM/MC phono stage cover physical media and vinyl.
Speaker A/B outputs, a dedicated Class A/B headphone amplifier, USB-A and USB-C connectivity and RoomConneXion multiroom support make the CS 8.3 S one of AVM’s most comprehensive components.
