PSB Alpha Intro CLR Speaker White Each – Ex Demo Display Unit
Small passive speaker that can be used as a centre speaker or left/right speaker instereo. The name CLR stands precisely for (C)enter, L(eft), (R)ight. It’s a D’Appolito construction so both long-stroke 3.5 bases with polypropylene cone with Butyl composite suspension play fast and you have a lavish cooled aluminium treble that really picks out the details at the top.
PSB is the Canadian speaker specialist that has been around since the 1970s and has made many amazing designs, and this definitely belongs to this category as it sounds clear and clean with a good tight base for the size and has a wide spread. Then they can stand up/lie down, wall-hung in both vertical and horizontal. There is also a screw mount for stands where you hang the speaker. The terminals are substantial pole screws that can take naked speaker cable conductors in, fork contact or if you fiddle away the plugs use banana contact.
The box itself is made of stable ABS composite material. The front grill is made of metal and can be easily removed. The logo can be detached and put in the right direction if you use them for stereo purposes.
