COPLAND HYBRID INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER
The Copland CSA100 integrated amplifier is a part of the latest work by Copland, aiming to combine the advantages of tubes and transistor amplification using the synectic design concept that previously has made Copland hybrid amplifiers widely acclaimed.
One tube is responsible for the CSA100 line amplification and the efficiency of this single tube layout is astonishing. The double triode tube runs at high voltage in setup for maximum linearity, taking care of the voltage amplification only. A MOS-FET circuitry delivers the brute force driving the line stage output and feedback circuitry, thus securing a firm handshake between the world of electronic tubes governed by voltage and the current controlled transistor technology.
If you prefer the warm and nice coloured charm of some older tube designs look elsewhere, the CSA100 tube line stage is made for monitoring. In this application, the tube provides life, headroom and dynamics hard to find in amplifiers relying on solid stage technology only.
A single chassis machined from aluminium alloy to avoid magnetic interference. For the vinyl enthusiast, the CSA100 has RIAA input for moving magnet or high output moving coil cartridges. The amplifier also employs an excellent D/A converter with multiple S/PDIF inputs, PCM, and DSD capabilities using the ES9018 Reference 32-bit DAC in quad-mono configuration, 8 mono to 2 stereo configuration.
The CSA100 Integrated Amplifier USB input implementation features USB 2.0 PCM 24/32 bit data transfer to 384 kHz, including native DSD64 and high-resolution DSD128.
The asynchronous USB-B port connects to your computer’s USB-A port. Once connected, the computer recognizes the CSA100 and routes the digital audio data to it, bypassing the source device’s internal audio circuitry.

A modern, high-tech speaker with powerful yet colorful and spacious sound in a tasteful, timeless retro –-inspired housing is the premise that Pylon engineers were guided by when they designed the Jade 30.
Powerful components:
This three-way speaker has a 15-inch bass driver for the low frequencies. The tweeters are a BMS compression driver, which is housed in a horn with a specially designed Tractrix profile.
With an impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 93 dB, the Jade 30 is easy to match with different equipment – it can easily be used both with a low-power tube amplifier or a powerful transistor amplifier.
Powerful components in a small housing
In this three-way design, the lower range was entrusted to a 15-inch woofer. The top is taken care of by the BMS compression driver, working in a short tube with a Tractrix profile specially designed by our engineers. The appropriate selection and efficiency of the transducers allowed for band division around 1200 Hz. With an impedance of 8 ohms and an efficiency of 93 dB, the Jade 30 is easy to configure with any – hardware and can be easily used with a low-power tube amplifier or a powerful transistor amplifier.
Optimized design
The speaker housings are constructed of heavy MDF boards with additional reinforcement using internal stiffeners and trusses to ensure adequate structural stiffness. We have optimized the entire device to work both on a low stand, which is included, and on a higher stand available as a separate accessory. The Jade 30 has a natural waxed American walnut finish that highlights its vintage aesthetic.
A sound that doesn’t disappoint
Jade 30 is a great performance that delivers a concert experience: a combination of „’s powerful ” sound with unlimited sound freedom and instrument scale. The speakers sound important, with a strong foreground, rhythmic strong bass, and colorful high notes. We tried to compose the entire scene in such a way that it created a friendly concert atmosphere for many hours of listening, but also would work well at lower volumes, creating a place to work and a relaxing musical background.
