VOICE OF SONUS FABER
A testament to our Natural Sound philosophy, Amati Supreme inherited the advanced “Voice of Sonus faber” (VOS) from Suprema. The silk dome tweeter and super tweeter extend the high-frequency range with remarkable clarity and delicacy, while the Camelia midrange unit, enhanced with our Phase Plug, ensures an extraordinary control of the mid frequencies.
The drivers – tweeter, super tweeter and midrange – are the exact same of Suprema.
CORK
Amati Supreme’s tweeter and midrange are loaded into a dedicated volume damped with cork – designed to nurture internal volume, and further enhance the performance of the drivers.
This cork surface is realized through the use of computer simulation, yet the resulting unit is truly organic in shape; without regular shapes and constructed from a completely natural and sustainable material.
As a brand famed for innovation, Sonus faber can once again proudly claim another design and engineering first – pioneering the use of cork to create acoustic volume. The acoustic properties of this material play a fundamental role in the resolution and natural quality of Amati Supreme’s midrange performance.
THE ADJUSTER
Amati Supreme’s intuitive MID-HIGH and MID-BASS tunable system allows listeners to customize the soundscape to their personal space. This fine-tuning mechanism, subtly integrated into the rear panel, provides adjustments that maintain the speaker’s tonal purity while adapting to different room acoustics.
This ensures Amati Supreme delivers its full potential in any setting, from intimate listening chambers to grand living spaces, providing a tailored auditory experience that always embodies the Sonus faber signature.
THE CROSSOVER
Evolving the “Phase Coherent” concept of Sonus faber’s signature sound, Amati Supreme’s crossover network features the identical components found in Suprema’s crossovers. This design, refined through countless hours of listening and testing during Suprema’s development, ensures seamless integration and perfect synchronicity among all drivers.
