Pinnacle of Opal series
Compared to other models in the series, the Opal 30 showcases the technical advantages of the larger design. It produces a richer, fuller midrange without losing the overall character and musicality of the smaller models. It offers a melodic presentation complemented by rhythmic bass and a sonorous treble, all well integrated into the final sound characteristic of the speaker.
Three-way excellence
The Opal 30 features a new 18 cm PSM 18.8 CS midrange driver with a coated cellulose diaphragm designed for maximum sound uniformity and micro-dynamicity in the most sensitive range. A pair of 18 cm PSW 18.8 CS woofers provide an adequate base for the rest of the band, delivering a solid dose of the lowest registers. The upper range is handled by a 25 mm silk dome tweeter equipped with a neodymium magnet. All drivers are housed in an 18 mm body, including the back of the cabinet, with a thicker 22 mm front plate to reduce front wall vibration. Additionally, a dedicated chamber separates the midrange speaker from other drivers. For maximum structural stiffness, reinforcements have been added at crucial points.
