Devialet Astra also comes equipped with a redesigned remote. Matching Devialet Astra’s sleek casing, it features a built-in screen for real-time feedback on actions like volume setting and playlist navigation. And its central knob allows for ultra-precise volume control in 1 dB increments.
The remote is battery-powered and can be easily charged via USB-C.

Born of innovation
In 2007, a pair of French engineers birthed a new amp technology (called ADH) that could produce powerful Class A performance without the need for big heat sinks. It looked and sounded so good, they were able to launch their new company, Devialet, which went on to produce iconic wireless speaker systems.
Now, in 2025, they’ve gone back to their roots and revitalised their philosophy of beauty and power with the Devialet Astra. It’s the latest and greatest expression of their innovative, in-house technologies.
Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH)
The original amp principle developed by Devialet’s founders. This cleverly combines the functions of Class A and Class D amplification, and lets an amp produce a clean, high-powered music signal without demanding big heat sinks and ample space around components.
Speaker Active Matching (SAM)
With SAM, a user can input a particular speaker specification with which the amp adjusts the bass signal output to get the deepest possible bass response.
Record Active Matching (RAM)
For those who enjoy vinyl playback, RAM optimises the phono stage based on your turntable and source record to curb errors and deliver a better, more true-to-original sound.
Made in France with premium finishes
The Devialet Astra is designed and assembled in Paris by dedicated craftspeople. Its standard finish is a gorgeous light bronze, though a genuine hand-crafted gold leaf finish is available for those who prefer a true work of art. It’s named Opéra de Paris in tribute to the group’s famous Opéra Bastille theatre.
