From the very beginning of the design phase, the team of engineers and designers at Pylon Audio set an ambitious goal: to create a speaker system that would deliver an exceptional sensory experience, both in terms of sound and appearance, while remaining a subtle presence in any space. The final design of the Zirkon 20 is not only an outstanding speaker but also a beautifully crafted piece of functional art. Their elegant, slim design makes them an excellent choice for both audio enthusiasts and those who value modern design. Zirkon 20 speakers offer flexibility in both placement and customization to individual sound preferences. The crossover design is the culmination of this ambitious project – exclusively linear components such as air-core inductors and foil capacitors have been used to ensure maximum transparency and precision. As a result, the speaker’s sound is full and cohesive, with every detail rendered with the highest fidelity.
Elegant, powerful experience
At the heart of the Zirkon 20 is a newly developed midwoofer, whose design allows for a combination of high sensitivity with deep, rich bass. Thanks to a uniquely designed basket, the speaker places a large membrane surface on a narrow front panel, achieving superb dynamics and sound clarity. The membrane is crafted from ultra-hard cellulose, laminated with silk, and additionally impregnated for high rigidity and lightness. This dampens any internal vibrations, ensuring excellent control over the mid and low tones.
A powerful magnetic circuit with a small-diameter coil generates high SPLmax, offering not only high efficiency but also fast acceleration, resulting in outstanding dynamics and sound precision. For additional magnetic stability, specially designed Faraday rings were used, allowing for a high level of detail in the midrange and deep, structured bass.
The upper midrange and high frequencies are also meticulously refined. The tweeter, utilizing Diffraction Expansion Technology, provides impressive microdynamics, reproducing details with exceptional precision. The tweeter’s controlled directivity increases flexibility in speaker placement, allowing the speakers to blend seamlessly with the room while optimizing sound quality.
Sleek, stiff, sonically superior
The Zirkon 20 is designed to be slim and elegant, with an enclosure optimized for stiffness and the elimination of standing waves. The internal structure is divided into three chambers, which increases stability and minimizes unwanted resonances. The bass-reflex construction with a low-tuned system provides the Zirkon 20 with a full and balanced sound, while the bass-reflex ports placed at the bottom stimulate natural acoustic modes in the room, delivering powerful yet precise bass. Attention to construction details, such as the even distribution of drivers and carefully selected distance of the tweeter from the front panel edge, ensures the Zirkon 20 is acoustically balanced and cohesive.

Thanks to this, the sound of the speakers is full and consistent, and each sound element is conveyed with the highest accuracy.
