Description
The Fosi Audio Box X5 phono preamplifier is a small, high-quality device that accepts MM and MC cells. Based on the use of OPA1612 in DIP8 and high-fidelity RIAA equalization, it delivers highly qualitative sound reproduction of your favorite vinyl records. It also features 4 levels of gain adjustment, enabling it to adapt to a variety of sources. Gain can be set at 66dB, 56dB, 48dB and 38dB. The Fosi Audio Box X5 is powered by 16V AC.
Fosi Audio Box X5: MM/MC compatibility and 4 gain levels
The Fosi Audio Box X5’s four gain levels ensure compatibility with different sources. In addition, a switch lets you set the input impedance to 47kOhm for MM cells or 100kOhm for MC cells.
Gain can be set to the following values via a rotary switch on the rear of the unit: 66dB, 56dB, 48dB or 38dB.
