Its 5.46-inch color LCD delivers a range of useful information, including details about the song currently playing and an analog-style VU meter. This display, along with the intuitive UI, also simplifies configuring the unit’s settings. The Muse Series worksseamlessly with the Onkyo Controller app, allowing you to power the unit on or off and adjust various settings just as you would with other Onkyo products.

It includes three pairs of RCA analog inputs, a coaxial input, a phono input, an HDMI input, HDMI ARC, an MM/MC-compatible phono input, and an HDMI output. With both Ethernet and Wi-Fi support, it enables modern streaming playback. Its HDMI connections handle both video and audio, making it compatible with game consoles and other devices that lack HDMI ARC. The Y-50 also features a proprietary room-calibration system developed for the Muse Series, which analyzes your listening space and applies sound-field correction tailored to your environment.
