The newly added USB-B input enables constant connection to network audio servers or PCs for seamless high-resolution playback.

At the heart of the SL-G700M2 lies Technics’ High Precision Coherent D/A Converter system, featuring dual ESS ES9026PRO DAC chips in a true dual monaural configuration. This symmetrical design places one L/R unit on each side with independent transmission structures to minimize interference and faithfully reproduce sound staging and musical space. The proprietary Coherent Processing Technology minimizes amplitude and phase deviations throughout the D/A conversion process for signals up to 192 kHz PCM, resulting in increased purity and clearer sound imaging. Post-conversion filtering utilizes a unique discrete amplifier circuit rather than conventional operational amplifiers, delivering exceptional responsiveness and signal-to-noise performance of 121 dB (balanced).

The four-section chassis configuration features a high-rigidity construction with 7mm thick aluminium front panel, aluminium die-cast disc tray, and high-stability SACD mechanism.
