The Floating Island of Delos (Greek Mythology)

The Island of Delos is one of the most important mythological and historical sites in Greece. In Greek mythology the windy island of Delos was once uninhabitable as it floated aimlessly in the rough Aegean Sea until the Greek god Poseidon anchored the floating island in its place on four granite columns to provide a safe place for Leto to give birth to the twin gods Apollo and Artemis.

Turntables are carefully made with extreme precision to pick up the finest details in a record. The stylus navigating the tiny variations in the vinyl’s groves is a delicate process that is very sensitive to vibrations.
