THE RISE OF LEGENDS
Bruce McLaren cemented his legendary status at age 22 when he drove his #5 car to victory in 1959, the youngest Grand Prix winner at the time — a record that held for over four decades. Through his Formula 1 (F1) career, he took the podium 26 more times and leveraged those achievements by developing one of the most successful constructor’s teams in F1 history. Today, we combine his triumphs with the prowess of Paul W. Klipsch, a genius and pioneer who pushed the boundaries of audio technology and founded the groundbreaking Klipsch company still operating today, over 75 years later.
THE LIVERY
Directly influenced by Bruce McLaren’s first big win, these legendary loudspeakers are marked by his #5 and McLaren’s signature papaya color. But it’s not just about the past. The vinyl wrap expertly applied over black ash wood is designed in tribute to McLaren’s history, and the papaya colored paint used on the Forte’s horn is provided by the same company who outfits McLaren F1 cars now, making these extraordinary speakers identifiable to any fan today.
